A sunny day spent strolling the streets of Greenwich Village, New York City and this Mexican Kitchen, Tortaria, caught my eye. Sitting pretty amongst a lively neighbourhood of food stall, markets, live jazz and a bustle of pedestrians the temptation of tequilas and tortillas was hard to walk past.
The rich burgundy tones and deep greens make this design a wonderful winter warmer.

Scarves that tell a story....
Lizzie Marinko resides in Perth, Western Australia and has been involved in various design industries for over 20 years, including a professional background in landscape architecture, graphic design, 3D special effects and set design for film. She has been creating bespoke digital artworks for private clients for over 5 years. The passion behind her talents has always been to translate these artistic skills onto something tactile, soft and beautiful to wear; unique apparel to compliment any wardrobe basics.
Urban Fable is born out of this passion, translating stunning artworks digitally onto large-scale scarves using only the finest and softest blend of Australian Merino wool and silk. Lizzie uses all her own imagery for inspiration; from the gritty streets of inner city life to the sublime coastal landscapes of Australia and beyond. These images are then digitally re-drawn and abstracted into a multitude of tiny shapes, creating a contemporary form of Impressionism that translate beautifully onto fabric.
